What is a fire alarm system?
The purpose of a fire alarm system is to alert building inhabitants to the presence of carbon monoxide, fire, and smoke and to evacuate right away. Usually, the alarm system will use both visual and audible alerts to draw attention to the emergency.

Why do I need a fire alarm service contract?
For your fire alarm system to function when you need it most, during an emergency, a service and maintenance contract must be in place to carry out regular checks as well as emergency condition or false alarm.
Why do I need a minimum of 2 visits per year?
According to article 13 subsection 1 of the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005 [FSO], it is a legal requirement for the responsible person to make sure that the premises are, to the extent that it is appropriate, equipped with appropriate fire detectors and alarms in order to ensure the safety of relevant persons where necessary. Fire alarm system should be tested on a semi-annual or quarterly (depending on the size of your premises) basis by a trained and compliant ‘Responsible Person’ or technicians such as ourselves, in line with BS5839-1:2017.
